Stars don't hide away
they wait for me to see
On cloudy nights
I search those lights
and hope they search for me

I let a love slip by
into the spreading sea
I was afloat
a net, a boat
but hoped you'd jump to me

When the sky is clear
a billion years have passed
I look into
a world that's new
to see that love can last

When the sky is grey
it seems I have no past
I'm rowing to
a better view
I see our love will last

hey star gazer! I too, think about time as I gaze at the twinkles, wondering if what I'm seeing still exists...I love the way you ponder in yer poetry. Hugs, waltie.
