Don’t Leave Me

Don’t leave me alone in moonlight
When you go leave in another light
Tears that cascade from within me
Would reflect moonlight piteously
The last sight you have of my face
Shouldn’t be of sorrow’s damp trace
When the angels take you away
Ask them to come another day

Don’t leave me as I watch sun rise
Sun's light shouldn’t reflect teary sighs
My soul would surely call out stay
Begging you to stop with me this day
Let angels take another’s soul
I need you with me to make me whole
Don’t go away in the dawn’s light
Stay here until the stroke of midnight

Don’t leave me in the noon day sun
When our love has only just begun
If you should leave me I fear this
That I know forever sorrow’s kiss
Noon’s sun is much too bright to hide
The signs of tears and sorrow tide
I don’t wish you to see me like this
Stay awhile and taste true loves kiss

Marsha

Marsha, I love this! I love it! I love it! Sad, and exquisitely beautiful, a true jewel from your marvelous and skillful pen. Darling Mushy, you write with the soul of an angel who truly feels the mixed emotions of joy and pain in such a very wonderful, passionate way.

And the construction and form are perfect. I love this poem, Marsha. Of course I always love your writing but this one is very, very good. And very special. Thank you for sharing it.

Every little whisper and memory of you
would keep the moments rushing
and keep away the blue.
He's singing in his dreams,
while picturing the you
remembering your words and touch
of only's coming true.

hugssss  a great poem Marsha

sis,

sweetest sis of my heart, such sadness
and longing in this poem...you know that
you're in my thoughts and that i pray
for you and yours everyday...hang in there
sweetie...brighter days are ahead.
love you much!

So basically, just don't leave AT ALL! I wish we could have control over those facts.
This is beautiful, Marsha

Dear Marsha
I always say
Don't leave me dear
but he smoke to much
And he is gone.
It was not fair
and now i'm here alone
