~Two Souls Together~

Wherever I hear you say come here
I feel you physically draw near
There’s no distance between you and I
You are as close as my heartfelt sigh

Your heart is here inside of me
I hold it in trust of love’s certainty
No days will end in my teary pain
I’m with you now and I will be again

Your touch is imprinted in my soul
The part of you that makes me whole
I hold you in that deep place in me
That is a perfect sanctuary

Whenever I feel your eyes on me
I feel the heat flow hot and free
I’ll breathe the spicy scent of you
And taste a love that is ever true

You are always here inside my heart
There’s not a second we’re apart
Two souls in one place and in one time
I have your heart and you have mine

Marsha

And you can give it back right now ...
By the by, can you do anything about this gaping hole in my chest?

This is a wonderful and loving piece.
Well done, Mushy.  Well done, indeed!

Mushy,
You are an excellent writer. Your rhyme and flow is as good as any I've seen. There is no muddle in your pink bubble. Everything reads clear and to the point. And I name you my official bubble blower. LOve it.

Marsha, darling girl. Sweet dreamer of my heart. Your pen again writes beautiful poetry. Two souls in one as you know is one of my favorite themes and you fuse them very beautifully in wonds rhyme a wonderful imagery.

And as I read your beautiful words, the wind blows glowing warm breezes through my window and I too must write. For you inspire me, Mushy, like no other poet could ever do.

And so,

One sweet loaf of bread - inspired by Marsha's poem, "Two souls in one"

"How beautiful you are and how pleasing, O love, with your delights!"
NIV Song of Solomon 7:6

I awaken in morning, a new day O so bright
Sunshine flowing through my window in pretty glow
And there you are beside me an angel in white
Glowing radiant beauty, breathing very slow.

Body, so beautiful as you lie next to me
Eyes beaming bright a loving sight you are so pure
I love you so, your beauty glows, so tenderly
Two spirits dine, sweet lovers shine in God's allure.

And yet I know you're far away across the sea
This glow so fair comes through the air in blowing wind
Our heart's reside, inside, a chosen frequency
Two souls, one spirit, fly together with no end.

I close my eyes; I feel your sweet lips kissing me
I touch your face as we embrace in loving touch
Our hearts beat strong although I'm gone away from thee
All heaven glows as each star knows of our love, such.

Bright loving power as our starlight, lightens heaven
Two souls in one sweet loaf of bread, raising leaven.

Two souls, one spirit making one sweet loaf of bread.

One sweet loaf of bread for God.
