Saturdays Star held a special treat
my favorite strip was on weekend's seat;
L'il Abner crowned the top of the page
remember fictional characters at that early stage.

Remember Blondie, Dagwood and their dog
his boss with a cigar, behaved like a hog;
Snoopy on the roof of his tiny domain
wondered what Charlie put in his dish again.

Lois was there to help friends for a nickle
if Charlie didn't follow advice, what a pickle,
Linus on rare demand got to play his piano stuff
he'd cope with a young lady who'd shout "that's enough!"

Cavemen too visited their doctor's rock in Hart's BC.
the Wizard of Id got in trouble with his mistress, you see.
Most of these strips still continue today
competition is great in the media foray.

And so, Ignatz hurls a brick at you with great aplomb. Krazy!

(smiles) YAY!!! Oh my gosh, I know so many of these comic strips so very well, I was saddened when not too long ago the Peanuts creator passed away, that is my favorite comic strip! (big hugggssssss) This is wonderful, sweet friend, we all love you so much! You have such a beautiful heart, sweet Martin, thank you for sharing!

May love and light always shine upon you

Love,

Noah,

Too bad Schultz is gone but his spirit in the cartoons still survives
