Watching

Today I watch for butterflies
On my back with face to the sky
Drift with the drifting puffs of white
And watch for bursts of words to light.

See mist on mist imprint its list
And watch for those that will insist
Study colors and different hues
That brings my thoughts to different views.

Those play upon my whimsy mind
The frizzy and the dizzy kind
Control the beating of my heart
What pain and loving thoughts impart.

I luxury in quiet rhyme
And watch the sand depart my time
I warm within the suns embrace
For such is the will of my pace.

I cannot zap the lap of tide.
Nor cap its fall on life’s abide.

Seymour darling boy, what utter utter joy is this butterfly delight. As always your pen writes me into rainbow dreams where unicorns play with little cherubs and crystal streams of water tumble over rocks spreading diamond drops of light.

Truly exquisite writing darling boy, when are you going to write for the fire maidens among us mmm? Okay there really is only one fire maiden when do I get a Seymour treasure. Pretty please…….

You do know I love this don’t you

(big hugggssssss) This is soooooo beautifully touching, sweet friend, may all the caterpillar inspirations bloom from your hearts cocoon and morph into butterfly thoughts just waiting to be netted gently with joy! (smiles) This is breathtaking, sweet friend, we all love you so much! You have such a beautiful heart, sweet Seymour, thank you for sharing!

May love and light always shine upon you!

Love,

Sy, I don't know about butterflies but I can assure you if you're laying outside on your back in your neighborhood, men with nets will be on the way to help you!

LMAO....I do love 'deer's comment....

And I like this poem....such is the ways
as we gracefully get a little older...

I like the last two lines best...a good
"cap" to the ending...
