I call thee, do not go away
I plead my case, please whilst thou stay?
Abide with me in passions heat
Take me and sweep me from my feet.

This bitter pill thou gavest me
no longer swallows easily.
Just one last time, I call thee so
and then twill be my pain to go.

Sandra, you're singing my song.  I always relate to your words.  This is very well said, if achingly so~

Take care and hugs,

The pain thy feel oh lady most fair
Shall go as does the set of moon
A breeze shall swirl thy lovely hair
as thee await,  to feel 'gain soon.

Thy knight doth ride into the set
of moon behind the hill on high
To share the heat of passion yet
To bring forth from lips softest sigh.

Thy pain twill go....

Excellent poem Sandra..

Sandra,
Yup, read it twice. I liked it twice! Well done.

Dear Sandra, you show great passion here, with the old time feel and the words hope.

Again inspired.

I leave you not my love of true
My life would end if not for you
The passion that we both do share
Will follow me to everywhere

The pill you take is of my will
The words you read fresh off my quill
The time we share of caring way
Together now and everyday

Sincerely Rick

Much enjoyed.

Barry and Rick, you have the best poetry within a reply. It is a treat to read them.
Thanks everyone who reads my poems, it helps to write, and even more when someone comments.
