Listening to every heart

0 posted 2002-04-28 07:14 PM

He took Clay

Just a block
common stock
with key unlocked
a vision

of something
from nothing
looked within
saw love

feather of dove
sun above
thinking of
her smile

hands molded
twisted and folded
sculpted and sighed
passion grew

from nothing
made something
looked within
felt love

clay formed
with breath
and depth
and desire

he so aspired
to lift love higher
to church spire
from clay’s mire

of nothing
to something
looked within
made love

just a block
common stock
with key unlocked
his vision

and gave her life

(sigh) Ooohhhhhhh...I love this, sweet friend, this is a very interesting way of looking at passion and love for someone develop, almost as though a heart is constantly in the making and love forms a palace when love occupies it! (big hugggssssss) This is a wonderful artistic gem, sweet friend, we all love you so much! You have such a beautiful heart, sweet Karilea, thank you for sharing!

May love and light always shine upon you!

Love,
Noah Eaton

An intriguing repost Kari.....What one can
do with a simple block of clay....form into
a beauty...  How many have done that over
the centuries...???  Mayhaps a few?

Karilea,
Thank you so much for the repost. What inspiration! And I'd have missed it. Very well done.

He took a hundred pounds of clay
And then He said, "Hey listen"
I'm gonna fix this world today
Because I know what's missin'
Then He rolled his big sleeves up
And a brand new world began
He created a woman and lots of lovin' for a man...oooh yes he did~

I enjoyed your poem so much Sunshine.
Your words reminded me of a treasure I had once hoped to find and how easily the mold is cast, only to be set on fire!!!

Dear Sunshine, I really enjoyed this form of poetry indeed. From the clay you have formed a vision, uplifting our inspiration to a higher level.

I enjoyed the read, thank you.

I'll always have respect for someone who can take wet earth and shape it into a liveable form. Not one of my skills. Loved your clay of words. And damn if that didn't inspire me again...
