Power of a Woman
(Inspired by Paladin)

Don’t take a woman’s mind for naught
Don’t take heart in jest
To her demands give serious thought
For she decieves the best

She’ll treat your soul like royalty
Emracing your desires
You’ll float along in revalry
No heed to what she sires

Beware all sailors of the ark
Don’t treat her with neglect
For every time that you embark
Is cause to circumspect

She beckons with desirous eye
To delve into her soul
And you so readily comply
In glory she extols

Caressing you with gentlness
In warming ocean streams
Rocking you ‘neath starry bliss
Fullfilling seaman’s dreams

Slapping waves upon your bow
Ripping at your side
Until the fear of death has eaten
Soul and heart and pride

She shrouds you in a bliding mist
Entrapping who you are
And all you visioned to exist
Remains on shores afar

Each vessel daring woman’s power
That sails from off Cape Cod
Be mindful that beneath the flower
There lies the hand of God

Yes how many women have told me that they want me to like them for their mind and their personality...and not their body...listen up sailors...for this is the power of a woman...James

Thank you for your comments.
You know, a poem can be read in any context that fits your heart. And this must be very ambiguous. I was simply writing about the sea, in one big metaphor, but I guess you could apply it to women also.
Watch out for those dangerous flowers, you sailor guys! We'll wrap you in mist!
Hey, not a bad thought
