For a friend, who is having some tough moments

When the walls seem way too close
and the day seems to never be night
When you wonder what's right chose
and your mind struggles in fight.

When the times are getting tough
and each moment seems too much
Remember this, it’s not as rough
and the tunnel’s light you’ll touch

A friend is near to listen and speak
and take the fear and hurt from in
cause even though it seems so bleak
I know you will, you’re gonna win.

You are a person deserving to know
that you will come through it OK
And soon those feelings will let go
and leave you seeing a happier day.

You will....I know you will

Wow Barry, it is like you also wrote this for me, I am truly getting a lot from this poem as times are a bit tough now. This is wonderful. So much feelings in your poetry, your friend is lucky to have you write like this for (him, her) and so am I. Thank you , this is wonderful to read this morning, Floria

(tears fall down my cheeks) Oh Barry, I think so many can relate to these words so well, I am someone who is currently going through some hard times and all I want is stillness of heart, something to equip me and use as a weapon to seek victory against my demons and find love and all my dreams come true! (big hugggssssss) God Bless You, sweet friend, you are a true angel of words, we all love you so much! You have such a beautiful heart, sweet Barry, thank you for sharing!

May love and light always shine upon you!

Love,

Yes, I needed it too. I guess many of us are feeling down, and this poem is a bright spot of hope.

Now....this touches me...

I wrote this to help someone....Knowing that
person needed the encouragement...

Never...never...did I imagine that what I
did could help about a dozen people or so..

HUGS to all of you...  Big ones....

And yes,  there is a light at the end of
all of our tunnels.....  I had my time
once,  where I thought there never would be
a light there again....

I was wrong...  And I could not have done it
without friends...  Ones that cared and
lent me a shoulder...

But,  I had to have courage and conviction
to get to that light.  And I had to try
hard not to look back,  only forward...

BC....your welcome...

All of you....your welcome!!!!  and Thank
You...

If I were to think back in time to what I consider my darkest moment it would be a time when I gained two new friends that were there for me...I know the value of friends...James
