Elizabeth

It was a strange mist that drifted through
That moment I laid eyes on you.
We met before in sweet adore
And ever since have had rapport

With memories posted on your brow
I read all those you would allow
With hardships of the distance sphere
A fear came very close to near.

When in the misty glistening heard?
The chirping of an early bird
The crunch of sunlight eating gray
With entrance of the light of day

And time melted from my goal
And light, lit my inner soul
A silent tear formed in my head
Your eyes that welcomed me instead

Forgive me friend the time between
It’s something that I should have seen.

May I pick, then, a new favorite poem
one that sees me safely home?
A time of rhyme that heeds the need
of all I want, and all I read...

Seymour darling boy and keeper of dreams, YOU know I’d love this. As I believe I’ve mentioned once or twice before YOU can really write, this is utterly outstanding.

Your use of form and line simply cannot be bettered, you paint with words darling heart almost as well as you paint with love. The strokes of your pen sketch in the outline, then with your masterly use of words you bring the picture to life. Utterly utterly exquisite writing xxxxxx

Draw me poet, etch me in line of flow
Make my eyes shine and my body so
Pliant and ready to welcome you
Feel the touch of this coming through

Paint me poet, add colour to my face
Let my breath exhale my pulse race
Daub me with you artistic skill
Paint me poet show me your will

Sketch me poet write my eye’s sight
Draw me into the shade of night
Paint the sound of laughter’s voice
Learn to touch the soul of choice

Draw me poet, draw the line of me
Paint me waiting for opportunity
Sketch me poet my form and line
Daub me in attitudes of sweet sublime

Love and warm stuff
As always
Mushy

Sy,
"Crunch of sunlight eating gray"
Delightfully your phrases play
In spectrum's field of bright display
Upon my waking of the day

No words could match your gentle pen
That plucks the thoughts of where and when
That hang from morning glory's vine
And twists them in a verse that's mine

Thank you, dear friend
Your Poetry is the best

Mushy,
There is no doubt you are a delight and my Randy is blowing smoke and pawing the ground.
But Tinkerbell has me bound. You are my Alice in wonderland. My Cheshire that winks within my open soul. My everyday muse and goal. So we can play in phantoms land and strike up a tune that's grand.

Elizabeth,
You are a love a velvet glove
And coo the coos of a dove.
Your rhyming is beyond compare
You know I really don't compare.

It was a blessing to see you again
and I am so glad you are doing well
Keep in touch if you can and let me
know what is happening. Love Sy

Sy this is so endearing and sweet...what a lovely gifting of heart rhymes...the hand held out of friendship in this made me smile and touch the warm as I read your tender words ... and those beautiful closing couplets made me want to give you a big hug for your sincerety and gentle spirit...We all have been touched by your and dear Liz's friendship...and this gentlemans tribute to her is another gift of that connection. Lizzie, love your reply verse as well.
Thank you for making me Tinkerbell heartsmile this morn me sweet Stinkylove.
Youre the best Sy-babes.
love you

... and I don't know why ...
Why should love come down and just sweep me away
I want to fly ... but there are so many things in my way.

Whatever shall we do with you,
you write sweet phrase that sticks like glue.

Commemorate a love of eye
to words she pens in rich supply.

Enjoyed, Seymour! and thanks for dropping in on my "Ya Old Crow"

JM,
You have touched me with honey sweet
And placed wings on my running feet.
To dissipate the heat of cause
I owe you at least applause.

Thank you love.
