the beginning began
like most any other as the gradual
widdershins in the zephyrs decreased density
had been unassumingly playing through Stoney
Creeks woodwind passage when came a climactic
moment from the tamarack section after which
the lightning broke the progression of
soft loquaciousness with a
thundering

crash the spell was
fractured & a steady crescendi
was flung aloof with an aching arctic
force from the blasé of a sleepy frivolous
north all within proceeding moments from
the piqué rouse the lawn was covered with
inches of freezing and in barbecues ice
lay what was once my medium
roast that I should now
be eating

Writing isn't just something I do, it's something I am.
To write of feelings that touch all hearts in some manner is my delight.

I love the rise and fall of this piece.
My eyes just flew down the page

I like how you use such long and rhythmic words for something as mundane as looking at an unused grill -- a nice twist.

Ah, honey, you can always make me smile on those endings! I liked this very much. Oh, yes, what a lovely zephyr on our mountain!
