I pulled on my pantyhose
It ran faster than a gazelle
I slipped into my penny loafers
So quickly that I fell

My skirt split up the left side
my blouse has lost it's collar
what else could possibly go wrong?
Listen? Can you hear me holler?

The battery on my car has died
and my key broke off in the door
Triple A has turned me off
and now it's starting to pour

My house key is locked inside
so into a window I crawl
I fall into the kitchen sink
and stagger into the hall

The dog thinks I’m a crook
so he grabs me by the heel
I trip and fall onto the floor
can't believe this all is real

I try to call my boss at work
to tell him I'm not coming in
but the phone line is dead
this is a game I'll never win

I lay back on the bed and cry
not knowing what to say
suddenly I realize
That today is Saturday!

BREATHE.

*chuckling again* It's been awhile since I had to experience THIS...but once, I did try to hand my baby the boyfriend's beer, as I offered the bf the pacifier...Does that count? Yep. I have put the leftovers in the cabinet and the clean dishes in the refrigerator....sigh...

You made me smile...

This was enjoyable to read ... brought back some really silly recollection of those 'now what else can possibly go wrong' days ...

(sigh) This is sooooooo wonderfully said, sweet friend, I too think we all experience plenty of these "nothing-doing" days and we just want to lose ourselves in the memory lane! (big hugggssssss) This is wonderful, sweet friend, we all love you so much! You have such a beautiful heart, sweet Sharon, thank you for sharing!

May love and light always shine upon you!

Love,

PdV,
ROTFLMBO Couldn't happen on a better day. I didn't see any rain. BTW, I danced like that once with a Christmas Tree. It still doubles my wife over with laughter! Yup...you made my day.

ROFLMAO... This is classic! *S* But I'm afraid too many of us have had similar experiences for a life trade to give you any great benefit.  *G* Thanks for the grins!!

The ending made me lol. Cleverly written and rhymed.

Each verse was a good as the previous one.

Enjoyed!
