The Dance of Colours

The light dances above.
The red brushes up to the green.
As the green turns to see the red,
It is asked by the blue for the next dance.
They begin to dance, a dance that flows,
Flowing like water down a quiet river.
It is a beautiful dance.

The red looks on only to be interrupted.
Red turns to see yellow bowing gracefully,
“Could I have this dance?”
Red and yellow join,
Blue and green on the dance floor.
As they dance a graceful dance,
Other colours join them.

All the colours join each other,
Joining in beauty and light.
They entwine to a wonderful sound,
Nature’s song of love and light.
But don’t look away for then they are gone,
Dancing off into the dawn.

Wonderful Wilfred!
And the northern lights do look
as though they are dancing too.
Well done my friend....
Just like magic!

The Eskimo belive you will become insane if the northen lights reach down and touch you. I don't think this has been proven. We don't get the northen lights down here in the south. We do how ever have silent fox fire lightning and glowing swamp gas.

oh, I loved this one, my friend!  I spent many years in Alaska, where the Northern Lights fill the sky with colors and mystery. You captured that same feeling with your pen!

The music is playing...the dance begins
