Rewriting History
By Larry Chadwick

I decided to write the history of the world,
but I’ll only include the things I know.
and all I know is that you my darling,
are the center of my universe!

I’m planning for a large circulation,
in the first printing of my project.
As I intend to give it to everyone,
that I know or get to know or
don’t even know.

It will be a masterpiece of love,
that will enlighten the world,
and ultimately put the
priorities of this planet straight.

And as for the critics of my masterpiece,
well, we all know, critics don’t know
anything anyway. That is why they
couldn’t get a real job in the first place.

So honey, I would recommend you get
a new coffee table…I’m bringing home
the history of the world and want it
displayed in the middle of everything.

April 26, 2002

Somebody asked how I feel after surgery…I replied, I don’t know. I’m so drugged it doesn’t matter!

It's never too late to have a good childhood! Woohoo!

Larry,
this may not be the history of the world but it sounds like the history of your love. Whoo hoo!

~Sinking fast into
an ocean of you,
what if I told you,
what if I said
that I love you
do we dare cross
that line between your
heart and mine~

Our personal histories are the most interestig and ones we don't dare let a critic get a hold of!!  Little do they know they're not about to get the whole story in the first place!!!  It's a work in progress!!
This was just great Larry~~

sorry to read you're in the recovery room!
Go easy and feel better soon!!!

Hope you feel better soon, Larry...
I am on pain meds too...and I have also been writing.
Unfortunately, its been hard for me to sit at my computer...but I'm gonna try again for a while tomorrow and maybe I'll post one of my goofy poems...
and...
I might add...that your poem was definitely not goofy...
it was excellent...
