In our tree "Then God said, "Let the land produce vegetation: seed-bearing plants and trees on the land that bear fruit with seed in it, according to their various kinds." And it was so. " NIV Genesis 1:11 As I look into the heavens I see Stars twinkling bright in far off galaxies I'm reminded of how God makes a tree Roots in dirty ground with heavenly leaves. And as a search for nourishment makes strain Sweet sap demands much pain and misery Digging, pulling, working in dirty pain To create life in pretty leaves we see. A spirit knows all glows come from the sky All energy, power are from on high But as we dig and pull and work and try We lose our hope, feel sorrow as we cry. Forgetting we are just like roots in earth As we seek nourishment for God on high And when we think that life is only dearth Let's connect to God and look up to sky. For all sunshine and sweet winds blow aloft In earth we rarely find our life is soft. In our tree.   (big hugggsssssss) Oh Newell, this is soooooo wonderfully touching, we must all remind ourselves that the trees base of support is always supplied by the roots, and only faith alone can help them and bear the fruits of life we all seek!
