Fringe, Meet Center

inviting in
this exterior self
that humanity sees
to convene with
the soul
that resides
therein

gesturing, to
take the hand
held out in greeting

putting arms around
me and the self
that appears
in the mirror

going beyond facades
and pretense,
scaling the
brick walls

where, in the depths
of this warm
dark place,
one hears a
soft whisper

almost a song
so inaudibly sung

imagining then, Tibetan bells
softly pushed to
music by
harsh winds

a comfort to
the ears
that mutely perceive,
in this inner sanctum
where fringe
rarely meets
center

but knowing, indeed
that it is there,
it resides,
waiting

and that might be
deemed

fair enough

I am so very glad that you reposted this because it speaks volumes and is such a treasure Lady. Wonderful..

Like a red brick,
in a white wall
somebodies brush
forgot to paint...
lonely....(as sung by Tracy Lawrence..)

This is whispered warmth Lady...read like a summers breeze on bare skin.
Lovely....so very.

... and I don't know why ...
Why should love come down and just sweep me away
I want to fly ... but there are so many things in my way.
