Ruth

A hug from her is a tender of lace
A moment in space an instant of grace
As warm and lovely as the sun up above
As pure as the grace of a snow white dove

She rides a spirit of an essence of clear
With the delicate of a rose that is near
And never have I touched more fire
Than the friendliness that she inspire.

She captivated me each day
Within the room or on our way
She made me feel her wills declare
As lightly as I breathe the air

And now that she has hugged me free
And left me for her home to be
I’ll remember beyond this time
And touch her again in her rhyme.

She’s laced into my final goal
And has a place within my soul

A true Artist....you write us poetic sketches with the same gifted grace that you paint and draw...and allow us to see the soul of both the subject and the poet.
I am looking forward to future heart sketchings from the impressions these special people left on you.
Ruth will treasure this, I know.

Now for me some words come easy
But I know that they don't mean that much
Compared with the things that are said when lovers touch

A hug is a poem sometimes, building over time, and a poem is a hug.  You have both.  How lucky can you be?  What a beauitful tribute!

Seymour darling boy this is simply outstanding writing. As you so often do you pen the thought so well. Defining friendship, very hard task but you did it so well. What a beautiful tribute this is, as always darling boy you have sent your essence to me and I’ve breathed you in like wine divine.

Wonderful writing, absolutely wonderful I consider you a fabulous friend. And this is an absolutely fabulous piece of writing, now where’s mine? Mmmmm? I know I’ll have to wait. In the meantime I’ll send you a dazzling smile and a breathy kiss. xx
You do know I love this don’t you? I thought you probably did.

Love and warm stuff

These lines say so much about both of you, Seymour... and it's all heartwarming. *S* This is a beautiful tribute to a special lady... methinks you're pretty special yourself. *S*

Sy...what a lovely gift to awaken to. Just to have you pen my name in verse is honor enough without all the wonderful things you said about me. It was a joy to finally meet the man behind the lines and getting to hug you, ah...what a bonus my dear friend. Thank you for this lovely poem expressed in the wisdom that only you posess.
Hugs and Love,
Ruth
