you are shadow woman shapes there
on the pale sand of our cove place
horizon is purple lace and lavender
with sun fingers touching sea oat colors

you wear my eyes on the ends of your hair
my wind combs it to the side
I know your neck scent and the shiver
of make woman sigh skin when I touch

you left your bag and wrap on the bench
said you didn't need it with me
only my hands and my dreams
would keep you covered and warm

we dance to the wave music songs
they strum tide frets in samba
we make deep footprint steps together
the sway of entwine mining the soft dreams

maybe we will sink to heaven in time
through the sand well to under eden place
where we would rise from desire
and be alone with our arms and hearts

woven into an endless braid of dreams...

ya know....I dont doubt that for one minute....you cause quite a few eye sighs in here with your poetry.
and this....this one is a major *sigh*
enchanting writing poet sir.

Now for me some words come easy
But I know that they don't mean that much
Compared with the things that are said when lovers touch

DS darling boy this is Utterly perfect writing, flows across the senses like a breath from a lover on a warm day. Just a whisper of touch and so beautiful in it’s entirety. You write wonderfully. Excellent writing absolutely excellent

DS~ Big sigh over here!  I rarely get to see the ocean where I am, it's only when I go travelling and seek it out that I do, so thank you for bringing me there with your words.  The whole thing pours out romance, I love it!

*hugs*

I love this part..makes me think of graceful foreplay in the surf. Then winding up all wadded up on the shore. You are a samba sigh maker~wink*

Oh my, this is all so seductive and intriguing.
I hav to say this stanza did it for me, though.
"maybe we will sink to heaven in time
through the sand well to under eden place
where we would rise from desire
and be alone with our arms and hearts

woven into an endless braid of dreams"

Write on, your words are always so stunning.
Sandra
