On the Sea of Love
By Larry Chadwick

I was drifting in the thought of you,
With no particular place to be.
Relaxed by the reflection I saw,
Contented just to have you inside of me.

It’s always perfect weather,
For floating with you in mind.
All I have to do is close my eyes,
That’s how easy you are to find.

So here I am in the sailboat of love,
Mooring my feelings to your heart.
Satisfied while laying here on deck,
That in my drifting it won’t be apart.

April 24, 2002

It's never too late to have a good childhood! Woohoo!

(smiles) Awwwwww, I love this, sweet friend, I too always love to dream every night just so I can hold Joanna close to my heart in my dreams and hope I really can have her in the future! (sigh) May you always hold onto your sweetest dreams and they will come true always, sweet friend, we all love you so much! You have such a beautiful heart, sweet Larry, thank you for sharing!

May love and light always shine upon you!

Love,

You know, that sounds like how I get through my life without him,  just hang with him in my head, and it's ok.
Sad, but ok.
Good poem, Larry.

James,
That was before my time... Thanks.

Noah,
Actually, I wasn't thinking of dreams at night, but rather of mid-day. Thanks always.

Sandra,
We all have little confessions of how we cope. The good thing is if it works. Peace. Thank you.

Larry darling boy this is awesome, truly exceptional writing. So amazing what you convey such grace and style, a painter of pictures, an artist sublime, this is excellent writing as always. You have such an outstanding gift to write. You know of course I love this, I love the lines in this the softness, the safety of a heart floating on the sea of love.

Utterly utterly excellent writing

Love and warm stuff
As always

~Sinking fast into
an ocean of you,
what if I told you,
what if I said
that I love you
do we dare cross
that line between your
heart and mine~

in a white wall
somebodies brush
forgot to paint...
lonely....(as sung by Tracy Lawrence..)
