Blinded By The Love In Your Eyes

The stars still dance in black filled sky
singing their timeless tune
They draw the gaze that makes hearts sigh
from two whose hearts will swoon

The moon still shines with magic glow
touching the inner soul
Casting gold light to earth below
on lovers while they stroll

The rainbow's colors still shine bright
as we search for it’s gold
We seek it out with sweet delight
even as we grow old

The magic of this world we share
grows stronger each new day
With you I become more aware
while in your arms I sway

Blinded by the love in your eyes
this world becomes my dream
To past we give our last goodbyes
replaced with hope filled gleam

Karen,
That explains where you've been. So blind you couldn't find your way here. Nice return.

It's never too late to have a good childhood! Woohoo!

What a rush to see your name again, as I was just asking myself this morning, "Where is Startime?" As always, a delightful, romantic poem accompanies your name.

Another poet and I were also talking of your whereabouts ....
You have been sorely missed!
And dare I say, you have not lost your touch.

this is so tender and exquisetly written Karen, it is sooooooo good to see your words among us again....you indeed have been missed.

Like a red brick,
in a white wall
somebodies brush
forgot to paint...
lonely....(as sung by Tracy Lawrence..)
