My dreams wrote a poem
Flowed across the page with my heart pen
That wept tides taking sand into jungle water
Where creatures graceful dancing did
And others darted fast within

I dreamed the soft rocks of hands were warm
And I lay them on my back to bake
And made play in holes that filled themselves
With toes digging cool wet release

I wrote a story into words that told me
How I ended and the beginning made me cry
And all the while I listened out the open window
For the song of whispered night
Pleasing this lush pillowed head of disrepair

I dreamed a lover made of words
And words made of shells and small stones
All strung together necking
or falling from silken tether
Touching me places no one ever touched

I wrote a poem in my dreams
And tried to capture it in morning glance
For it left within me a place
still warm and wounded
By the kiss of  fragile tapestry’s good night

Ohmygosh Martie!
This is simply incredible writing...
Your writing touches a place
inside of me that
no one else has touched.

That my dear, is understatment ...
YES ... you did....you ALWAYS do.

this is AWESOME...but then so is the poet.

Now for me some words come easy
But I know that they don't mean that much
Compared with the things that are said when lovers touch

When the dreams write as beautifully as this .... I'd go back to sleep ! !

You are astounding ... even in your dreams~

(smiles) WOW!!! Oh my gosh, I know this feeling so so well, dreaming is my favorite part of the day always and I always feel so happy when I dream and when I wake up, I just want to capture that like a little boy catching fireflies in a jar and write it out so I can always keep my dreams of Joanna and other wonderful things! (kiss on cheek) This is beautiful, sweet friend, I LOVE IT, we all love you so much! You have such a beautiful heart, sweet Martie, thank you for sharing!

May love and light always shine upon you!

Love,
Noah Eaton

Martie,

What could be more ephemeral than the dream, upon awakening?  I can rarely catch one in my net, before it so desperately winks out.  I think that dreams want to be remembered, but we are afraid of them.
Thanks for this one, Martie

When I feel chills tingling my spine and raising the hairs on my arms and I know I'm sitting in the middle of a hot, humid city, I'm in the midst of a Martie-miracle. *S* This is beautiful, dear poet... keep dreaming! *S*

Martie....you are....beyond a doubt,  the
best poet we have at writing like this and
painting such a picture...a picture of
dreams...

Martie you certainly had a dream alright, and I wondered does your subconscious mind take requests?  I would love to hear about the flowers that are in bloom down there now as ours are not quite up yet and I am getting antsy.  Superb writing, but then it always is
