As I felt your head in cleft,
the sweetness of your lips in writhe--
eyes upon us as we lied;
and still the fingers danced adept.

A journey of a linger's glance
across a ballroom'd kitchen floor,
hiding hunger in our stance
in curtsey of "may I have more?"

Innuendo casting spell
into our knowing eyes of chant;
across the fabled Styx of Hell--
the bloodied yell that screams "I can't."

There is a knowing, follows us.
It be everywhere we go.
Electric, nullifying trust--
yielding unto what's unknown.

We can't fool them.
Fools can see.
(a diadem's
transparency...)
No, we can't fool them...
(kiss me, please?)
in rhythm's rocking
clasp of knees
of the child
in want's release...
a river, wild,
she breaks
levee...

Hello Karen

How nice to see you.  I found your words to be hauntingly beautiful, if that makes sense.  You portray amazing images through your words and I really enjoyed this.  I hope all is well with you and yours.

Take care.......Sue

can see the surging froth
of rapid flowing gush
lucky banks that hold
the edges of such
a river

enjoyed looking there

there is much I could say...but you already know...and you know that I know...so....
I will be a good moth and say...
you took this metaphor and worked it to poetic perfection...made it your own.
You are poetry baby

flow on wild river,
for there is none that
can hold back your course

excellent. . . just excellent. . .

I won't tell you the image this poem brought to mind, at least...not here.  Intense and other heavy stuff, with a twist.
