 I TOOK THIS PICTURE AT A PLACE CALLED VENTNOR ON PHILLIP ISLAND IN AUSTRALIA.THIS IS OUR LITTLE PIECE OF PARADISE WHERE WE GO TO GET AWAY AND I THOUGHT I'D SHARE THE BEAUTY OF THIS PLACE WITH YOU. * * * * * I come here to escape The stresses of life and such When I'm on holiday with my family This place offers so very much On a good day you can see forever Across an ocean of sapphire blue So much beauty is all around me And so very breathtaking is this view Complete relaxation is afforded me Whenever it is I come here A perfect place to collect my thoughts At the end of another busy year I feel so very fortunate To share this paradise so fine A place many can only dream about The peace and tranquility is so divine The bird life here is abundant I watch with interest as they roam From magpies to spur winged plovers They all live around this home I watch the seagulls catch the thermals As they fly with so much ease They soar the skies so effortlessly Moving so gracefully with the breeze I feed the birds each morning As they come from far and wide This place gives me so much inspiration I find it difficult to remain inside This place of timeless beauty Is like a precious jewel in the crown How privileged we are to stay here So very lucky with what we've found My favourite time would be at sunset This vantage point is one of the best I watch the sun melt over the ocean Spreading amber as it comes to rest So many photographs I have taken From this place so lovely and serene And I realise each time I come here I am actually living out my dream Suetang |
