Come Sun Rise
By Larry Chadwick

Each morning comes again,
As always it has done.
The day comes bright,
With the rising of the sun.

I greet you with my love,
It’s said because it’s true.
Reminder of the way I feel,
Even though you knew.

So daily I express myself,
To be as faithful as the sun.
Who can tell the outcome,
When the day is finally done?

Never should there be a doubt,
As each day passes by.
Never should there be regrets,
That makes you want to cry.

For seldom is there warning,
About how life will end.
So when it’s finally over,
No broken hearts to mend.

It's never too late to have a good childhood! Woohoo!

Even though this is written in a tender mood, I just found it so striking to realize so much can be a regret.. ..lovely Larry~

what if I told you,
what if I said
that I love you

Great thought, Larry!  Life and love are too precious to disparage or waste.

Thanks for making a note of this...

In all of this, there
is nothing left to
question, but that it
should come back to
the top, again,
and again
