In a downward motion
spiraled out of control
lost in raw emotion
we forget mind and soul

Darkness feeds this hurts ache
freeing its hunger's heart
preying for loving's sake
ripping within apart

When the wait loses hold
slipping through silence timed
pangs of fear lay unscold
falling to depths unclimbed

Settled in dust to be
my remains heart heavy

create an addiction .... share a smile!!

~Sinking fast into
an ocean of you,
what if I told you,
what if I said
that I love you
do we dare cross
that line between your
heart and mine~

You translated the feeling quite vividly. It does seem like a physical weight, doesn't it?

A somber read, but I don't mind.

Well done, m'friend. The emotion hit home.

Thank you , both ladies and gentle men.
Though a sad and somber piece, it relays the message that one with such a weight to bare is never really alone, we all have felt its ache. Perhaps together there is a cure.

absolutely wonderful in your wisdom Craig...perhaps....just maybe!!  Great writing...*s*

Like a red brick,
in a white wall
somebodies brush
forgot to paint...
lonely....(as sung by Tracy Lawrence..)
