The Silence of a Tear

To weep from the heart is to let beauty pour
For teardrops are words that fall gently and pure
The wetness of life in a moment of haze
So silent the lyrics, so tender the phrase

Whatever the reason for tears to depart
Whatever the season, whatever the heart
The chamber that harbors the most treasured dreams
Is a garden of loveliness nurtured from seeds

A tear is a flower that’s plucked from the vine
Exuding its nectar of sweet crystal wine
A tear from the heart that so silently seeps
Like a petal of softness caressing the cheeks

Ah, a tug of heart
from strings of love
a touch of grace
that angels above
shall not dare compare,
each treasured touch
is a moment, rare...

(smiles) Oh my gosh, this too brought a tear to my eye reading this, I too always see tears as such beautiful things we should never hide and I believe every tear has a lyric, a note that is longing to be sung, and in crying these tears a loving heart is always in symphony! (kiss on cheek) God Bless You, sweet friend, this is lovely, we all love you so much! You have such a beautiful heart, sweet Elizabeth, thank you for sharing!

May love and light always shine upon you!

Love,

Liz

The beauty of you is more then just words
its a peace that exhales as with poem you merge
you're fragile and strong as a tears gentle glide
a friend you will always have in me on this ride

To weep from the heart is to let beauty pour

No wonder my mirror cringes whenever I walk near... I've poured all my beauty away! *G*

Sorry. *G* slaps hands

There are times when a bad joke takes control of my fingers... when they simply long to express appreciation for the beauty that's poured from your pen. *S*

This is so lovely, Elizabeth... it touches the heart with lyrical grace. *S*

THank you, dear hearts for your kind words. Yes, a week at Nan's did do me some good as I hadn't written in a long time. Being among those great poets of passions warms the heart and sooths the mind, just what I needed.
THank you all

Liz...tears cleanse the soul and in the company of friends, tears can wash away fears and past failures and enable us to look ahead to brighter tomorrows. So soft and gentle are your tears like the words you pen so gracefully upon our hearts. I wish I could take away all your tears so that they no longer blur the image and allow you to see the beautiful, graceful, caring person we all see when we look at you. You, my dear, are priceless.
Love,
Ruth
