Thank you for all the beautiful comments everyone. They are very much appreciated. I'm just trying to play a little catch-up from my time away in Open.

Ah Michael ... if right now, I could be back on that porch writing this, looking across the water, then skipping in to hand you the next installment, and see the grin on your face as you'd hand your next verses back to me ... I'd be there in a flash.

Clicking heels and wishing ... "there's no place like Nan's ... there's no place like Nan's" ...

Much appreciation to all,
/Kit

What an absolutely SPECTACULAR piece of work....
I knew as soon as I saw both of your names...that this would be a very special poem!
I'm go glad that you brought it back because I missed it the first time around...
I think I missed everything during the month of April, so maybe one of these days I will go back and see what other goodies I missed.

Congratulations to both of you on an absolutely PERFECT job

Your coaboration was a "meant to be" this story, this poem, is the most splended one I have read...let the ink flow - both of you!

The strands in your eyes
That color them wonderful
Stop me & steal my breath...

Goodness, Balladeer and Kit, you two are wonderful. I love everyone I've read. Now to the next one.

Got to missing everyone on a cold, rainy day, Cape Cod, The Christmastree Shop.  I needed a quick fix, and what do you know, it worked!

I am nothing special...and my name will soon be forgotten, but I've loved another with all my heart and soul, and to me,this has always been enough.~N.S

I've read this many a time in the book but can't remember if I ever read it in here so here goes. Suspenseful, sad, and beautifully written! I honestly can't tell which one of you write which verses (poetic twins?). Anyways, great storytelling!
