Losing The Light

Crystal showers of silvered stars
Falling into dusty dreams
Hopes that have faded
With the passing of light
Now huddle
Forlorn
Under tattered gowns of ice
Wishes that waited to breathe
And were eager to dance
Now shy away
Leaving the lonely hopes
Abandoned

Tears those priceless diamonds
Paid for in blood
Weep from eyes of iced sorrow
Stare into deserted
Dusty rooms of lonely
Soul that shivers
In isolation
Hear the
Sound
Of weeping sighs
Locked out of warmth
Hopeless

Echoes of lost sighs cry to
A hollow shadowed moon
While begging
Lies crawl amid
Scraps of burnt out promises
Shattered trust
Lies tortured by
Sad eyes dreams
Waiting for
Possible to become
The probable
While knowing
They won’t
Leaving nothing but
Sorrows

Krissy

And while thy willing soul transpiers
at every pore with instant fires

An emotive piece, but I like to think we never lose the light for long.

(tears fall down my cheeks) Oh Krissy, this is so very sad, sweet friend, I know tthat there will be times where we are hurt and we may lose our innocence, yet I know the spirit of the child will always be with us and leftover innocence will always remain to help us see the light once more! (kiss on cheek) This is sad but powerful, sweet friend, we all love you so much! You have such a beautiful heart, sweet Krissy, thank you for sharing!

May love and light always shine upon you!

Love,
Noah Eaton

An ache of poignancy~
Very effectively emoted dear poetess~

'Echoes of lost sighs cry to
A hollow shadowed moon'

I sure like that thought ...
might be some 'down-the-road' inspire from this one~

From the wisdom of the young
lies the speared tongue of sages
unabashed, so alive and untamed
wash sorrows sins from unpenned pages

Krissy, christened angel
who breathes a life in night
who sees a truth in darkness
who gives poem: sight

You are both the giver
and receiver of all joy
to be loved and left to explore
all the mysteries of life's ploys.
