Last summer I planted gladiolas
and bulbs are sprouting today
through the soil they are peeking
while the sunshine seeking
lovely petals of yesterday

Flower pots filled with love
kissed by raindrops from above
bright marigolds
and vivid petunias
in stair step pots
pink geraniums
and forget- me- nots

I love waking up
looking out
my kitchen door
now so colorful
like springtime before
flowers abloom
on shelves for my view
waiting each morning
within foliage
of a smiling hue

"If music be the food of love, play on."  (William Shakespeare)

Hello Victoria

Thank you for these stunning images of your garden, I really felt like I was there.  I could almost see the vivid reds of the flowers, such a beautiful picture you have painted for us. I hope all is well with you.

Take care......Sue

Beautiful Victoria!
I have a few things in bloom
and can't wait until May
when I can put in my annuals.
This poem is so uplifting!

Victoria - Yes, how generous of nature to gift us with it's rebirth each spring. This was lovely to read. Chris

You know, I was just getting happy about the sprouting flowers, and they say it is going to snow tomorrow. HELP, please let the San Diego rescue squad come and save me.
I do love spring, but its so messed up this year. It was 92 last week.
