Give her my greetings when you meet
and when you see her mellow smile
I beg no words or news of me
                       in loosely gossiped heartthrob style.
Don't hustle me, don't bare my fears,
don't state uncovered thoughts I spoke
or mirthy tales of lover's cheer -
that's not the way I see my hopes
that's not the way that she should hear.
how much I love her so.
She lives in my dreams so clear.
                         To ask her out is my lament;
cause her answer's is my greatest fear.
                        and rejection's never heaven sent.

Aren't we a proud but scared bunch of wuuzzes us guys?!? Heh, aw well, some of us are just plain old shy too!

The role of poetry is to utter the un-utterable; to open up
spaces of consciousness and resistance; to language oppressions; to
re-language historie

PT darling boy this is splendiferous, utterly utterly wonderful. And of course you need have no fear ask her darling heart she’ll snatch your hand off.

You are such an excellent writer you know, and this is just plain wonderful.

And you know I love this exquisite piece from you don’t you

aw...this just endears you to me even more--(I like SHY guys!!!) And it's because of thoughts like these that I can't say "no" (It's my life, lemme rationalize it anyway I choose! )

And it's great to see your name here again.
I've been wondering about you! Happy Hugs, E!

Don't feel like the Lone Ranger...

I relate to these feelings very well from
my dating years....(ages ago)....but they
were real then and still can feel the
butterflies...the anxiety...the fear of NO..

Eric hi there, this is lovely writing, as soft and smooth as liquid silk. I like this I like it a lot. Ask her she could say yes straight off you know, but if you hold back you might never know

(smiles) Oh Eric, I know just how you feel, if only we can all rise and realize how love is meant to be so special and something special to declare! (sigh) I suppose many people are shy at first because they are scared they might say something stupid to tarnish the experience and they couldn't take the rejection the other may have, though I believe there should be no delay in expressing love! (big hugggssssss) This is wonderful, sweet friend, we all love you so much! You have such a beautiful heart, sweet Eric, thank you for sharing!

May love and light always shine upon you!

Love,
Noah Eaton

You will never know until you ask her. She might even be waiting for you to ask her. Go ahead. Ask her!
