Word Sketches
poem inspired by Larry C’s title

word sketches, pin pricks
psalted musings, comic’s shticks
lines and voices, sounds and silence
words of kindness or defiance
spin around the world each day
railing, ranting or to pray
echo, float, or ricochet
wonder what His Honor’d say

‘neath the clouds or under sun
mocking, raving strains are spun
even words of love are heard
in spite of warring, jarring herds
lilting words lifted in song
chortled by a chanting throng
serenading love affairs
offering of tasty wares
words and messages convey
a joy to earn or price to pay

wondrous things our words can do
maim or claim, what choice for you?

Virginia,
Well now...this sketches many different pictures. Does that make it a collage? Thank you so much for your poem and the generous credit given.

It's never too late to have a good childhood! Woohoo!

Hey, Larry, maybe so. Thanks for the kind words and the read.

"lilting words lifted in song

Let's all chortle a happy tune. You and Larry can start, I'll sing along in harmony.

Love,
Noah Eaton
