Give back her daughter child

"but my dove, my perfect one, is unique, the only daughter of her mother, the favorite of the one who bore her. The maidens saw her and called her blessed; the queens and concubines praised her."
NIV Song of Solomon 6:9

Is there a stronger bond than mother, child?
A mother's flesh and blood is always bound
How can a man decide to rip apart so wild
And take her babe away from mother's ground.

Such cruel carnage by a judge of cloth
Is worse than any evil I can state
For daughters need a mother's breast so soft
To grow complete to open woman's gate.

There is no way a man can raise a girl
God made her jewels in a special way
And oft temptation to abuse a pearl
Results in damage far beyond man's say.

But in this land of cruel men we find
That men for selfish reasons make the law
And just ignore God's way that woman bind
To rip apart and make a women fall.

O God I pray that you will help her soon
Women, come forth! For it is now high noon.

Make men give back her daughter child.

Good use of the iambic meter and quite a thought provoking poem from a very frank and wise Biblical passage.

Oh, Newell, I am just still in absolute awe over this poem of me and my baby girl. You said it all right, she needs with her Mama, and once this custody battle is over, I am will be waiting with open arms and once I hold her I will never let go. Though, her time is equal between her Father and I, I feel so alone because she is my life, along with my son. He is home, and waiting for his big sister to be with us so we can be a family again. God only knows I am not the same and never will be until I can close my eyes with her at my side. This poem said everything my heart couldn't. Sometimes when things are so sad, it's hard to find the words, but you read my heart as you always do. Thank you for keeping us in your prayers and please continue to pray that she closes her eyes at night and is gently soothed in her tears longing for me. I hope the angels are sitting along her bedside since I can not be there. Thank you, Newell, for this write. It's really touched me. Bump!

Maybe you could pray for this baby too...who needs her mother very very badly...she's still missing after 8 days.
