Why does it always seem to be
so difficult and hard to see?
Why can’t I make the right choices
and once be heard over these voices?

Why does my heart say I don’t know?
Must it be this, just let it go?
Why do the tears fall from an eye?
Yes, I ask simply, tell me why?

I feel so helpless, I cannot move
I feel so alone, out of the groove
I think my choice, isn’t the one
Why, oh why...can’t it just be done?

I rack my brain, my soul does scream
I sometimes feel, is this a dream?
I have no way to say my thought
Is life a lemon that I bought?

Somehow...I know it will once pass
and life again will be mended glass
But now I just sit here and wonder
Why, oh why is my life asunder?
