One axis, one turn,
the Moon is New
as we starry-eyed lovers
view its darkened sides
with the luminous faces
of our newest desires.

One axis, one more turn,
the Moon is Crescent
as we catch a glimpse
of all that is to be,
all that is waiting
on our journey's winding road.

One axis, another turn,
the Moon is First Quarter
as we begin to see
the face of the future,
the hope of receiving what
we have only dreamed existed.

One axis, one quick turn,
the Moon is Gibbous
as we observe half-sighted
the promised phases
that our earth-bound bodies
are slowly rotating towards.

One axis, one last turn,
the Moon is Full
as we become one
with that crystalline light...
revelation merging
with our completed selves.

I have NEVER been "Gibbous" in my life!  I have never had a sick day and I've never missed a day of moonbeaming!

Beautiful write about me.  Please do carry on

Let thy moon arise.  William Blake
