A biblical fortress I hammered
into the shape of me
protection I believed from those
outside who watch for the light
in my window to extinguish.
My next task to seal the entrance
you so easily access, and
stop up leaks.

Your knock knock I must stay
from fueling my furnace,
I must harden against your
voice's ability to liquefy
and lastly I must resist the
lubrication with which
your touch so easily opens
my door.

This one is on fire!! Enjoyed. Chris

But touch is so hard to resist... and some doors swing open seemingly all on their own, obeying voice commands we pretend we don't hear. *S*

I like this very much, lady. *S*
