Little red wagon

Pulled along behind
Big enough to haul a dog
My first set of wheels

Marbles

Kept in an old sock
Marvels of all colors and size
Always play for keeps

BB gun

Sorta dangerous
Well oiled and fully loaded
You'll shoot your eye out!

YoYo

Stringed whirling orb
The motion all in the wrist
Danced in my skilled hand

Top

Wrap the sting tight
Quick snap the arm just right
Spins like a dervish

Paladin~
You're shaking the memory tree here~

I did them all, but the BB gun ...
(that was a BROTHER thing)
but, my favorite was -

'YoYo

Stringed whirling orb
The motion all in the wrist
Danced in my skilled hand'

WONDERFUL to read this today~
*Hugs*

(giggles in delight) YAY!!! Oh my gosh, this brought back so many memories of when I was a little boy, I lived through a long depression then but I did have my toys and they were the best thing that kept me compny, especially jacks and Matchbox cars! (big hugggssssss) Oh, this is wonderful, sweet friend, I have missed reading your words so much, we all love you so much! You have such a beautiful heart, sweet Robert, thank you for sharing!

May love and light always shine upon you!

Oh Bob, these are just great!
Yes!  So nice to see you back here on the pages of blue.
I remember those words so well...
"You'll shoot your eye out!"
Of course that could pertain to just about anything pointed...lol...'moms'!
Well done poet sir!
