Golden voice "The angel went to her and said, "Greetings, you who are highly favored! The Lord is with you." NIV Luke 1:28 Life can be so cold and narrow For a lonely broken sparrow For the sky calls come to me Come fly over land and sea. But it is so hard to sing With a wobbly broken wing O God please hear my prayer Mend my wings and take me there. To the stars where angels sing Let me soar as new bells ring And hold their hands as we rejoice With new wings in golden voice. Golden voice. Newell darling boy, I really love this poem it is UTTERLY utterly fabulous. You are an absolutely fabulous writer I love the way you’ve constructed this it’s clearly built of love and founded in the bedrock of compassion. I love the flow the wonder and the voice within. Oh Newell, this is beautiful, actually, my name is Singing Sparrow on other poetry boards, for I am deeply touched by the sparrow and I believe God will always feed all His little sparrows with loving care!
