Is in the definition,
in the tense you derive;
in the contradiction,
in the sense that's contrived
in the evolvement
of the banal into creative forms
in the decernment
of a voice whose message is worn.

in the answer of the question
in the transfer of our attention

received in the idle time of day
when hunter cavorts with prey
with the reception of company deeds
or with pigeons that flock for some feed.
in the recognition
of the passages that were scrolled
in the cognition
of the messages that were told.

in the answer of the question
in the transfer of our attention.

Yes it does, and I did. Not sure why no one else replied, but I like the philosophical edge of it, but it does make one think, and some are just sometimes too busy or too uncomfortable to pursue. But I enjoyed the theme of a shift of focus being so pertinent.
I am still pondering, too...

I will be back.

(and hey, keep don't be discouraged, keep 'em coming! )

(sigh) Yes, this poem indeed should be and deserves to be read, and I am so happy I was able to find this! (big huggssssss) I too feel that we always seem to underraste the meaning because we are so busy and that we should all find the time to train ourselves to overlook this all! We all love you so much, sweet friend, this is excellent! You have such a beautiful heart, sweet Martin, thank you for sharing!

May love and light always shine upon you!

Love,
Noah Eaton

Of course it deserves to be read, Ecrivan...and I get to them sooner or later.  [Psst...check discernment...]

I like the ebb and flow of this, and it does raise some discussion.  I've read it four times.  I get the feeling that what is being said is that we ask the questions, but we hardly wait around for the answers...

how far off base am I?

Serenity,

I know why poems like these are not easily commented on, and that's due to the subject matter I choose from time to time; the moderators though are quite good at getting back and I am pleased with their input and exchange of views..glad you're pondering

Hi Vandana,

I said to myself if I can get vandana to comment on one of philosphical take-offs then it's going to appeal to a whole lot of people who are intuitive of the subtlness of my writes. Thanks Vandana

Karilea,

You are not off base at all, there is a hitch to our refusal to stay around long enough to understand that the questions are there for us to answer but we're so busy devising so many schemes of approach that events slip by...and the questions go unanswered...there is another angle of our lack of interpretation even if we were able to perceive what is happening around us.
