THIS PICTURE IS TAKEN OF BATHURST ISLAND, AUSTRALIA

* * * * *

The sun begins to rise
Across this wide brown land
By late afternoon you'll find me
Walking slowly along the sand

I'll stay and watch the sun
As it melts across the sea
In this paradise ever changing
There's no other place I'd rather be

It would be wrong of me to keep such a breathtaking picture all to myself and I'm glad you all liked it.

Barry - You would be welcome here any time and I would be delighted to show you my homeland.

Take care......Sue

What a gorgeous picture!

I don't blame you for being so proud to be Austrailian!
A friend of mine travelled there last year and she ended up staying for a few months she loved it so much!  She plans to move there someday.

Take care,
Melissa~

BREATHTAKING! When does the next plane leave? Six years ago, my then 19 year old son took a year before entering college and traveled all over Australia. He took some amazing pictures, but none as spectacular as this. How I would love to come and walk on the sand with you.

The scene and the words are both gorgeous...a true touch of paradise.

Lovely poem to go with this spectacular picture.  Your words flow so smoothly, simply across the page--perfect!
