1: This came to me in the shower. I have just discovered The twenty-seventh letter of the alphabet. However, Because it isn’t listed On this keyboard, Because I never learned of it in school, Because I can’t describe to you The shape of it, Or even make The hideous ghastly sound it represents, I can’t tell you much of anything about it, not much of anything at all. So … Should I take another shower? … 2: This one’s absolutely true! I heard of it on NPR. Archaeologists found a tablet On which were described Strange Sumerian figures. After much discussion And scholarly debate, They deciphered four Sumerian words Etched in clay. The four Sumerian words, As translated into English were: Bah, Bah, Bah, And Bah. So … Should I take another shower? … Jaime Everything you know is wrong! |
