Many houses lined up on the street,
In all colours - loud and discreet,
Hiding places where people meet,
With smiling faces as they greet.

The red house is where Old Jack lives,
One who likes red wine and olives,
Red is full of life he believes,
Like blood that flows under our sleeves.

The bright one there is Aunt Mary’s,
The one who looks like a fairy,
Though her habits appear eerie,
In her heart she’s such a dearie.

The big one in cream is young Mark’s,
The kid who jogs around the park,
His eyes are full of youthful spark,
So bright that they can light the dark.

So good are people in this town,
Ones that would never let you down,
So stay with us Dear Mister Brown,
And we won’t let your high hopes drown.

.....

I enjoyed the stroll through the neighborhood. And yes, please keep smiling, and be happy.
