Winnie the Pooh(et)
By Larry Chadwick

If Winnie the Pooh met Willie Coyote,
I’m sure he’d think he was on speed.
And if he met Popeye the sailor man,
He’d be afraid he’d make him bleed.

If Winnie the Pooh met Yogi Bear,
The crowd of tourists would scare him away.
And if he met Casper the friendly ghost,
He would lack the courage to play.

If Winnie the Pooh met Tom and Jerry,
He’d think they didn’t like each other.
And if he met cranky Elmer Fudd,
It would cause him to say, “Oh bother!”

But if Winnie the Pooh met me or you,
A PiP’s poet is what he would want to be.
And then he’d start humming and rhyming to himself,
“What rhymes with Woozle, oh bother me!”

Eh? arrrrg hehe

I'm 22 and yet I'm like a little kid when it comes to winnie the pooh, but, I think everyone loves that bear!  I have keychains, blankets, pj's, mugs, purses, sandals, stickers, stationary, and tigger/pooh bear mats in my car, you name it!  I'm a proud addict.  Or am I just pathetic? lol
And I'm an addict to your poetry!

Larry,

Consider me a pooh fan too!
this is so cute and clever.
And, I can attest to what Missy
says, she's obsessed with anything
Pooh, oh bother!
