Blue
By: Noah Eaton
4/15/02

I play Tahiti drums and Macchu Picchu flutes
Attempting to contact the rainmaker
I look down at this dust bowl beneath my feet
And watch all my dreams wither away
Because I'm missing you
And I used to speak so easy
I can't find a warm place to dream
It feels lime walking with the ghosts

I close my eyes and meditate
All this yearning permeates
My eyes sting bloodshot
Because I'm missing you
And I never claim to understand
How so many things are under rug swept
Now I feel so upset
Missing you
When we're blue

My heart is afflicted with hemorrhage
I'm trapped behind winters portcullis
I'm just every springs hosteler
Living in my own private cellar
I just want to hold you
And kiss away all these tears
That seem to evaporate only to fall again
And end this drought
End this drought
You're all my heart desires, I love you too much
And I'm missing you...

Everything seems so blurry, it's like a moire effect
I just want to find my spring modus vivendi
More sweet than just a typical bowl of Honey Nut Cheerios
A Sunday game of Yahtzee
Is it too little too late?
Will I ever get to hold love close?
Now I feel so upset
Missing you
When we're blue

My heart is afflicted with hemorrhage
I'm trapped behind winters portcullis
There's this burning deep inside
There is no place for my dreams to hide
I just want to hold you
And kiss away all these tears
That seem to evaporate only to fall again
And end this drought
End this drought
You're all my heart desires, I love you too much
And I'm missing you...

You say you can't grow
You say you feel cold
Believe e I know
Cause I'm missing you...
You say you can't grow
You say you feel cold
Believe e I know
Cause I'm missing you...

Everything feels so blue...
Everything feels so blue...

Very good, Noah! Great imagery. And of course, I love the Machu Pichu flute music too. But I'm sorry you are feeling blue. Feel better?

I love this, sweet noah.

I would adore seeing an entire theme around it. Happy Hugs to see you again!

This has several very powerful verses. I hope you find the music to find the refreshness of a special love raining your way.

When we are missing someone so much it is the deepest shade of blue and yet it pales in the light of love.
Nice transalation of emotions Noah~

Noah, you write very beautifully. Remember that sunshine usually comes through skies of blue. And after the rain skies are always clearer and more beautiful.
