Next time, I want WAY more people there and we are thinking of making it sort of in the center of the US of A, like Vegas?  Nan and Kit will keep you posted.

Mysteria, you may consider me out of line, but Vegas is NOT in the middle of the USA...

it's more like where I'M sitting!

I think Chicago would be good...easy access to everyone, it's an airline hub...and it's a short 4 hour drive to Ron's place!

To all who have read this thread:
You all were there with us the entire time, following this thread. From the moment we hung our our bras, we kept checking the post for your responses and got a lot of enjoyment and laughter from your comments. It was as though you were right there. Someone would post some pictures and say" I wonder what so-in-so is going to say about this! and then we'd wait for your replies. It was a constant dialogue between the travelers and the keyboards at home, and our only regret was that we wanted you all to be there. WE had a great time, but you all made it much more fun by joiming in. Thank you for celebrating with us in our happiness. That is a mark of true friendship.

That's the problem...I WASN'T there with you when you hung your bras!!!

Other than that, Liz, you are exactly right...that's what makes this such a wonderful place

I had a handle on life...but it broke.

Yeh,Balladeer,I'm glad you weren't there when we hung our bras, but your poetic responses kept us in stitches. Other than that, I really wanted Denise to be there, and Marti, and etc, etc. I really wanted to meet Janet Marie, and enchantress and ............ Too many to list.  and southrn and..... Sunshine kept close tabs on our activities and Poet Devine didn't miss a trick. Next time there will be more faces to come to know. We became so close in that week we spent together. LOve you, Sharon for making it so special. THanks KIt and Nan for that fantastic treasure hunt
Love you Sy and Michael. Hoot, you walked right into my heart. Thanks, my pips friends. You got me to write again.

It is a wonderful thing just to know that the "group" kept the blue pages in their minds...we, on the other hand, waited with breath that did NOT remind anyone of garlicked lobster for each and every new posting in this thread...or to see a poem emerge from the wonderful combination of helping hands...

You have given ALL of us a vacation extraordinaire!

Oh boy! Sunshine is right Vegas is on the West Coast alright, well ask Nan it was her idea. Let's see here, North Dakota, South Dakota, Nebraska, Kansas, and Texas, I will never roast in Texas again, never!  Oh well wherever it is - dont' miss it, as there is nothing like "hearing" your friends read or seeing the sparkle in their eye when a new poem is born, nothing!  Liz is right though, you were all there in one way or another and you should have seen them all around that computer (bet Nan's laptop will never be the same either with all the different programs loaded on it) LOL.

Well I sure hope to give each of you a one day if possible.

I've been reading pieces of this post for days now and finally I got through it all...but I don't want it to be the end!  Can you all go back out there and create some more adventures to giggle over and smile at the beautiful friendships you all have?  Hmmm?  Pleease?  You all warm my heart with your love for each other, it was such a pleasure to witness!

*hugs to all of you*
~Krista

Your beautiful words & creativity allow me to connect with the same in myself.
Thank you for having the courage to share yourself so that I can too

Um... Mysteria.... we don't ALWAYS roast in Texas. *G* Some years, we have a few days right around Christmas when we can even wear sweaters! LOL

Elizabeth: I'm touched and honored to be included on your list of those you want to meet... for that want is certainly reciprocated. *S* Someday.... *S*

Kit and Hoot: Sometimes, someone's words touch us so deeply and so often we feel our arms must have closed around them at some point for them to be so dear. I've yet to meet you face to face, but I sure enjoyed this vicarious meeting... and knowing you better just means loving you more. *S*

Nan: In opening this thread, you extended your hospitality to all of us... I don't know when envy and enjoyment have battled so furiously for control of my mind. *S* Thank you so much!

Balladeer, Seymour & Isabel: Run for your lives. *G* I'm counting the days!!!!

LOL @ Liz ...
(you know ... I get the biggest grin when I look at the
flag I brought home as a souvenir?) LOL.

*~*

'Tis just a sigh of reminisce,
For all the friends I love, and miss;
You're dear to me ... I miss you so ...
Much more than you will ever know.

*~*

Just taking a little walk down memory lane, and catching up a bit. Hugs to all ...

Yesterday was the third Thursday of the month (that's how bugmen keep time)

The third Thursday of last month I was on a plane to Cape Cod...only one month ago. It seems like a year...or yesterday...
