Reliefs of slaves that carried carts
to olive groves their carriage parts
knew not of the victor's plan to collect offers
they held out in enclaves, goods kept in coffers.

rocket carries message deep into space
tiny blue spot is a collection of race;
dominant culture exacts collected offers
captive slaves tote their mounted coffers

to the kingdoms that have gained spoils
to the culture where gentlemen used foils
victory meant an application of a tax
charges today are sent out by fax.

royality wanes, victory over conquered survives
sequestered captives in new lands must thrive;
tiny spot under the constellation Taurus
carried cartload chants captive choruses.

(big hugggssssss) Oh Martin, I too believe we are all captives to one another in some way, and there are some that sadden me deeply that work as peasants and they are treated as though they don't even belong to their caste. (sigh) This is very powerfully said, sweet friend, I love the alliteration, we all love you so much! You have such a beautiful heart, sweet Martin, thank you for sharing!

May love and light always shine upon you!

Love,
Noah Eaton

your words give cause to ponder and return...

feel my desire,

I pondered a copy of a etching depicting captives taken to the land of their victors..the time is irrelevant
