Why should anyone care
about the color of someone's hair?
Or whether or not
there is or isn't any hair?

I'm laughing at the absurdity
of focussing on hair,
while people are starving and dying.
Do you really care
about the color
of hair???

The German regional court
will hold a hearing
(or hairing?)
May 17, 2002
to discuss media
accusations that
German Chancellor Gerhard Schroeder
dies his greying temples
a darker shade
of brown.

Do you care?

WHO??

WHAT? Color?? it doesnt make you who you are its  just an apendage of who we are, we are still the same person, what does the color matter?

Great write, insightful one!! missed seeing your name here....

Is that really true, Kacy?

This really hit me where I live!
Right now, I am praying that my hair stays on my head...
The chemo hasn't taken it away
but its turned it all to grey LOL!!!!

Thanks for posting this cute revelation!

LOL, Lauren, this was the only 'news' that made me laugh today. So maybe it wasn't such a silly thing to read the story.
   Hair today, gone tomorrow?
LOL, my hair is at least four differrent shades....naturally.

OOPS! I forgot about what that nasty old chemo does to hair. But keep your smile, it is worth more than all the hairs on earth.

HAHA. Duncan, no, I'm not kidding, it's a for-real story I read this evening. And I bet you'd still be handsome if you were bald.

(giggles in delight) Oh my gosh, this is indeed such interesting news, sweet friend, I love the hair color just the way it is for me, naturally brown, for I too believe it makes no difference who you are! (smiles) This is wonderful, sweet friend, we all love you so much! You have such a beautiful heart, sweet Kacy, thank you for sharing!

May love and light always shine upon you!

Love,

some people care more than others
but as i have no sibling brothers
i can only look to dear ole dad
to see his baldness makes me sad

Lauren, that's funny. And I remember 'Cliff' notes.

Noah, I'll have to check it out myself when I get to Colorado.

Walt, isn't baldness a sure sign of virility? Not to mention great wisdom?

Duncan, big ego hugs to you. Tracey told me you were good looking.

Kacy,
I thought Lauren was Legaaaaaallly Blonde. And I thought Madame Chipmunk would charge you with plagarism. She owns all poetry about hair, even nose and ear hair. But she can't help it...she is obsessed. If she losses hers I'm thinking about offering her mine. 'Cause I'm working on a ponytail...just for her! Oh that's right, she doesn't like grey. Cute write, as usual.

Cute write, great responses....and what people find to charge others with is sometimes totally asinine.

hehehehehe

more evidence that truth is stranger than fiction
and some people need help with their conviction
or addiction

to gossiping over trivial things
when a warring world painfully stings

Whether on the shoal or on the shore,
I'll seek the lighthouse evermore.

I always wondered why Just For Men is for men only...I mean, is not the same chemicals used to change the color of both men and women's hair? And are not our hair folicles (sp?) practically made up of the same dead cells?

Interesting write.

No what? No, our follicles are different and men and women use different chemicals (ph differences?) for their hair coloring?
