In Your Poetic Mind

Ramble Series

~~~
Twelve minutes to darkness
did you notice, there are mirrors
on the sidewalk?
faith held sentence by sentence
no solid ground
bodies of water standing
We are between worlds
landing on waves
water between love
Have you slept on satin sheets?
laying down each night
on orchids & butterflies
drifting above and under
woven softness,
storms and music
become a
solo
preformed
I can’t remember
A time of such
uncertainty
with out keeping score,
pencil in hand
a scribble of numbers
and letters
“I have loved you
all my life” a quote
of sadness, just a quote
With skill you danced,
letting darkness fill me
with wisdom
I stepped back
enough to translate
the language
Perhaps I am too abstract
for your document of
understanding,
maybe you prefer
a bigger gift
touching your hands
Stillness settles
watching butterflies
tap glass
I listened from the room,
you were the last word,
ecstasy breaking free
between daylight & midnight
empty
Step through the
barrier of my mind,
enter my soul,
feel my desire,
let my eyes guide you
into the shadows of my heart
how about how good it feels to finally forgive you
(sigh) This is sad but beautiful, sweet friend, I hope now love is the first word you hear and you hear it whispering through his eyes! (kiss on cheek) This is so very powerfully touching, sweet friend, we all love you so much! You have such a beautiful heart, sweet Lauren, thank you for sharing!
May love and light always shine upon you!
Love,
Noah Eaton
Yes, I too like the "be-ness" of your work.
Thank you.
if I really say anthing about this. . . I'd probably shatter it. . . that's how delicate it is. . .
I know the tale from which
this comes, it's hard
to watch, and there
are words to depart
my lips
I too struggle
finding them.
There is a soft whisper in this, and it speaks of great tenderness.
Beautiful and soft as a butterfly's wing
With skill you danced,
letting darkness fill me
with wisdom
lovely words, Lauren...
