In a nuance of affection
A glimmer of your charm
It?s enough to set me soaring
And keep me safe from harm

In the shadows of days duties
Your gift eases my pain
Your nuance of affection
Thrills me through again

Just a nuance of affection
Just a tad and nothing more
Can keep me ever smiling
And fill me to me core

Is a kiss in shadows daring?
As you reach for me with love
For the nuance of affection
Fits me like hand in glove

I don?t want passion rising
Or a blazing funeral pyre
But a nuance of affection
Is enough to raise me higher

If you hold my hand in winter
And offer friendship?s lore
Then a nuance of affection
Gives me strength and so much more

I don?t need overt kindness
Don?t know the ways of lust
Yet a nuance of affection
Seals my heart and gains my trust

In the morning when you leave me
And you kiss me on the cheek
Then that nuance of affection
Leaves me smiling, filled and meek

For a nuance of affection
Says more than I can say
But I offer this my promise
With you I?ll always stay.

Here in the midst of my lonely abyss, a single joy I find...your presence in my mind.  Unknown

Keth darling sister of my soul may the stars catch you up in a net of wonder and the moons glow light your dreams, I really love this poem it is UTTERLY utterly fabulous. My soundless Oh of admiration, my breathy sigh would tell anyone who saw me that I’ve just been to the soul filling station and been re Kethed. This is another of your utter utter best darling heart.

This is excellent and as always I love it. Is that a subtle nuance of affection I hear? The softly falling rain that covers my soul with Keth scented peace and delight? I think so beloved I really think so.
TRULY PERFECTION I love this darling heart, it’s utterly utterly fabulous.

Love and warm stuff
As always

I agree, it's the simple sweet things that can make one's day. They have mine. *smiles softly and remembers*

I loved the unexpected ? in this, a delightful nuance. Very cleverly written.
