Love's not so good afterall

Darkness had blackened
my room
and I lingered on
unable to feel beyond love
Pity my poet's heart
for it cannot live
another life but that of love
But I must find a way
to cope
there's more to life than love
Perhaps if I hate a little
that can make me strong
Sometimes it's good to be strong
I pray that I can find
something inside
that can make me see
beyond despair
Love's not so good
afterall

hmmm... understand the feeling well... but if not love, then I fear we end with bitterness...

interesting read...and it does make me think..

(big hugggsssssss) Love is indeed not perfect, but then I also feel it is the most beautiful thing and without it life always seems so bleak and sad! (sigh) We all love you so much, sweet friend, this is wonderful! You have such a beautiful heart, sweet Walker, thank you for sharing!

There is more to life than love, but love has a way of sneaking back in when you least expect it...which is probably the best way for it to come..

Hate can leave a bad aftertaste in one's mouth, walker. As a matter of fact, so can love. Sometimes there's not a lot of difference between the two....
