Whispers

The wind whispers in my ear
To try the bars of mortals fear.
To look upon the battle field
And see the scares for what they yield.

Walk among the ghosts of then
Place some garlands on the when
Air the tears and let them fall
Spill the waste of duties call.

Search the inner lies of bright
The dark in the Vail of night
Gaze upon their stand and files
Then look again the crosses miles.

Stir the acid of power or
Never ever will it flower?
Let fly the spirit of the range
Give honor to the things that change.

But never, ever, spare the dare
Or back away the life you share.

Seymour darling boy oh my stars this is utterly utterly one of your best ever. This flows like liquid honey, sweet and as smooth as silk. Truly awesome writing, you never disappoint the reader darling boy, and this reader, in particular is always delighted by all you write. Even if it’s quality is immeasurably superior to my own I forgive you for being such a fine writer.

Stinkylove, there are so many impressive lines in this haunted write of the scars of war. Written with classic Sy-babes cadence and wisdom...with imagery that is sharp and cutting edge...and always those closing couplets from your soul's window allowing us the view of your mind's moments of "poetic way coolness."

I must sound like a broken record here each morning, but your writing is consistantly outstanding and impressive each day...I've simply run out of adjectives to do you justice

but never out of *winkies*

You bring a word from close my heart
a whisper gold that would impart
the slip of veil in paler vales
with imagery that lingers in my start

thank you for this, Sy....
